Join the EPC rally on Parliament Hill on Monday April 13.

Join the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition on Monday, April 13 for one hour at 12 noon as we rally to support Bill C-218 and as we mourn the loss of 100,000 Canadians to euthanasia since legalization.

Email info@epcc.ca if you plan to attend.

We are supporting Tamara Jansen (MP) (the sponsor of Bill C-218) and we urge Members of Parliament to support Bill C-218, the bill that will reverse the law permitting euthanasia for mental illness alone.

Canada is scheduled to permit euthanasia for mental illness alone, starting on March 17, 2027, Bill C-218 will prevent it.

Canada will also surpass 100,000 euthanasia deaths since legalization in mid-late April 2026 (Read article).

We mourn 100,000 Canadians who were killed by euthanasia.

For more information contact EPC at: info@epcc.ca

Canada's parliament has also appointed a new Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying to examine the issue of MAiD for mental illness (Read article).

Plan now to attend the rally on April 13.

Thank you for the ability to stand for life through your efforts. I support all efforts to end the taking of lives throughout the world, and the U.S. Constitution that strictly prohibits "euthanasia", although we are now doing this in such measures as "comfort" care (that took my own dads' life through a DNR "withdraw everything except comfort" direction from the medicine doctor). I believe that the numbers very far overreach the 100,000 euthanasia deaths, even here in America, because it is not even known that patients are being morphed to death with "pain medication". Please continue to stand for life and allow all of us to help in this godly endeavor. I do still believe that our nation will repeal the laws that allow this to be done here in America, as we give no room for 'exceptions' to Gods' law: Thou Shalt Not Kill. (Period!)

I've said this here before, but doesn't hurt to repeat, I guess.
I've heard and read there's a law in BC called "deemed consent" legally allowing psychiatrists to immediately subject people who've landed on an emergency or psychiatric ward to any form of treatment they want to impose (including ECT - formerly called "electro-shock therapy) without the patient's actual consent, and without certain safeguards still available in other provinces to challenge or temporarily halt the process.
We do not want a law like this expanding to a point where it's being applied in cases of euthanasia in general, or in conjunction with mental health "deemed consent" commitals where psychiatric patients can be euthanized without consent in addition to having been psychiatrically treated.
