Bill C-14 is a dangerous bill that does not protect vulnerable Canadians. Bill C-14 provides a perfect cover for murder.

Yes Shirley. The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition office is in London Ontario.
Is there a group going from Mississauga?
How about from Belleville. I am driving and have room for 3 or 4 others.
Praying for a huge attendance at the rally.
Praying for the hearts and minds of Canadians to be turned away from seeing killing as the answer to their problems.
Praying for God to protect the elderly and weak among us, who are already afraid of this bill.
What I learned at today's rally:
1-It is difficult to speak loudly or see clearly what is happening while reclined.
2-My grandmother's death by starvation at the hands of her orderlies was not an isolated event. Bill C-14 proposes to legalize murder that has been occurring for some time. Many victims have been deprived of food and water or been administered lethal injections at the discretion of doctors, nurses and even unlicensed orderlies.
3-I also learned that hospitals have begun including clauses, buried into admission papers, that permit hospitals to withhold food and drink or administer lethal injections, should the doctor/medical staff so choose.
Yes, Mommy Love -- sadly, the murder of elderly vulnerable Canadians has been going on for a long time. About 15 years ago, my father and uncle were approached by a doctor at an old-age care facility and asked if they wanted their mother (my grandmother) "put to sleep". A few days later, my grandmother was given morphine suppositories, and a few days after that, she was dead. I had been visiting her nearly every day for 8 months, and when I saw her drugged and dozy, I thought she was just having an "off" day. It was only after she died that I figured out what had happened to her. Had I known what was planned for her, I would have stormed the nursing facility and hounded police until murder charges were laid against her doctor and care attendants, but I knew my grandmother would not have wanted her sons to suffer on her behalf, and I also knew that she was in a far better place, away from people who no longer saw her as human or worthy of care.
Bill C-14 is essentially just bringing out in the open what has been happening for decades in Canada. The healthcare industry has been a killing factory of the aged, malformed, unwanted and vulnerable for some time. I sometimes feel that I no longer recognize this country, this "true north strong and free". Tellingly, both of my grandmothers "died" in care facilities within one month of their own money running out for their care. Had they lived, the government would have been footing the bill for them. I think this is a pattern; somebody with courage and connections needs to research the deaths of people in old-age care facilities in relation to who is doing the funding prior to the deaths. It is obvious that C-14 in part is going to be used as a way to clear beds. Beds are already being "cleared"; C-14 will just make it legal.
