Personal Attacks Prove Their Weakness

There’s an undeniable pattern in the way proponents of euthanasia and Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) attempt to silence critics. Instead of engaging in reasoned debate, they resort to personal attacks, misrepresentation, and the moral posturing of self-proclaimed ‘humanitarianism.’ The latest video targeting me does exactly that—trying to dismiss my perspective as uninformed while pushing the radical pro-death agenda under the guise of ‘compassion.’
Let’s be clear: what’s being presented as a human rights cause is nothing short of a death cult. And like all cults, ‘Dying with Dignity’ thrives on manipulating vulnerable people, redefining language to normalize the unthinkable, and aggressively shutting down dissent. So let’s break this down.
Misrepresentation and Misinformation
The video in question claims that critics of MAID, including myself, are misinformed or intentionally misleading. Yet, the facts about Canada’s euthanasia expansion tell a very different story:
- From Terminal Illness to Poverty and Depression – MAID was originally sold to the public as a ‘last resort’ for those suffering from terminal illnesses with no relief in sight. But in just a few years, it has expanded to include people struggling with mental illness, disabilities, and even those suffering from poverty and homelessness. If your government sees your life as expendable because you’re ‘too poor to live,’ that’s not compassion—it’s state-sponsored eugenics.
- The Slippery Slope Is No Longer a Theory—It’s Reality – We’ve seen time and again that once euthanasia is normalized, the criteria for who qualifies becomes broader. Countries like Belgium and the Netherlands have already moved towards euthanasia for children and those with psychiatric disorders. Canada is following suit, proving that the so-called ‘safeguards’ are temporary roadblocks that are eventually bulldozed.
- Healthcare vs. Killware – Instead of improving palliative care and mental health services, the government finds it cheaper to offer death as a solution. We’ve heard story after story of veterans, disabled citizens, and struggling individuals being offered MAID as an alternative to treatment. When suicide prevention hotlines start offering assisted suicide, you know society has gone off the rails.
Dying with Dignity: A Modern Death Cult
‘Dying with Dignity’ is not a humanitarian organization—it is a well-funded ideological machine that seeks to make death not just acceptable, but preferable. Like any cult, it relies on psychological manipulation, preying on vulnerable people who feel they have no other option. It markets suicide as ‘autonomy’ and ‘dignity,’ when in reality, it’s a system that pressures the weak to remove themselves from society.
The tactics of this death cult include:
- Redefining language – They don’t call it ‘suicide’ or ‘euthanasia’ anymore. They call it ‘medical assistance’ and ‘death with dignity.’ But changing words doesn’t change reality. If a doctor poisons a patient at their request, it’s still murder by any reasonable definition.
- Shaming dissenters – Anyone who opposes their ideology is labelled ‘anti-choice,’ ‘uninformed,’ or ‘religiously motivated.’ This is intellectual cowardice. The argument against MAID isn’t about morality alone—it’s about a government-sponsored program that devalues life.
- Grooming the public – MAID is being pushed in schools, media, and even hospitals as a ‘normal’ and ‘responsible’ choice. Like all cults, they start by normalizing the idea in the culture until resistance fades.
Personal Attacks Prove Their Weakness
The fact that they’ve resorted to attacking me personally is telling. Instead of debating the facts, they smear and discredit. Why? Because they can’t win on the merits. The statistics, the stories of abuse, and the rapid expansion of MAID all point to one undeniable truth: this program is out of control, and its proponents don’t want the public waking up to that reality.
True dignity isn’t found in being offered a lethal injection when life gets hard. It’s found in a society that values life at every stage—providing the resources, care, and community that help people live through suffering, not be disposed of because they’re inconvenient or costly.
If ‘Dying with Dignity’ were truly about dignity, they would be fighting for better palliative care, better mental health support, and better disability accommodations—not expanding the criteria for who ‘qualifies’ for state-assisted death.
This video attack is just the latest example of the death cult trying to eliminate opposition through smears instead of debate. But the truth doesn’t fear scrutiny. MAID has already begun its descent into a dystopian nightmare, and the more people wake up to this reality, the harder it will be for these cultists to keep up their facade.
I see time and time again, all this pro death cult has is personal attacks and emotional manipulation… you’ve showed your hand, in my opinion you’ve already lost.
Part of the reason DWD has gotten this far is because they haven’t had adversaries like myself and others.
Now they do, and now it’s time we shut them down.

Best argument to date for me. Short effective and easy to understand and share.
Bang on!!
I certainly hope you are right. I hope people have the sense to reject this scary bill but tragically my mp isn’t among them
Regarding pro-Death activist strategies, such as shaming dissenters as ‘religiously motivated.’ This is not just intellectual cowardice,it is hypocrisy as EVERYONE has a worldview or system of beliefs. But typically postmoderns will flee any demand to lay their ideological cards down on the table... Postmoderns will resist any attempt to focus on their ideology as this would destroy their ‘aura of neutrality’.
This article is well done. Yea! — Thomas Lester
