Dear Hon Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice
I am writing to express my absolute condemnation of the government's plans to expand MAiD to permit advance requests for incapable, irreversible, and vulnerable patients.
This trajectory is entirely unacceptable, represents severe human cruelty, and fundamentally violates the basic right of Canadians.
Allowing doctor administrated death for individuals who cannot give immediate informed consent at the moment of administration removes final safeguards turning helpless individuals into victims of institutional failure. The expansion constitutes systemic ableism, projecting a cold-hearted societal evaluation that the lives of vulnerable or disabled people are not longer worth protecting.
Euthanasia and eugenics are not native to Canadian values, they trace their own origins to dark, destructive periods in European history importing these outdated practices is a regression toward state-sanctioned human sacrifice. The human body is naturally structured to navigate life and death on its own. The government does not own the health or bodies of its citizens, and nature must be allowed to take its course without bureaucratic or medical violence.
The pseudoscience and historical medical overreach underlying these policies represent a complete failure of guidance. Instead of solving health and social challenges with genuine care, the state is facilitating, the termination of innocent civilians, rather than treating end of vulnerabilities as an inconvenience to be eliminated. Canada must redirect the resources.
I urgently demand immediate attention your office to halt all legislation regarding requests, fully defund the maid framework, and work toward its absolute abolition. True governance require finding ethical ways to reverse medical conditions and support the helpless, not ending their lives, I will not vote for or support a destructive government that fails in the primary duty to protect its citizens. I respect a direct response outlining what immediate action your office will take to protect vulnerable Canadians and reverse the course.
