Help the Delta Hospice Society remain a no kill hospice.

Alex Schadenberg
Executive Director, Euthanasia Prevention Coalition

On October 1, the Delta Hospice Society had a Special General Meeting where they asked their members to vote on a resolution giving the board approval to hold their Annual General Meeting online. The good news is that the resolution passed by a 67% majority to enable the AGM to be online.

With the passing of the resolution the euthanasia lobby has once again renewed their efforts to sell memberships in the Delta Hospice Society to take it over.

We need you, the supporters of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, to also purchase a membership in the Delta Hospice Society to ensure that they can elect a board that continues to oppose killing by euthanasia.
(Membership Link).

We need you to:

  1. Purchase or renew your membership in the Delta Hospice Society before the Thursday, October 21 deadline. (Membership Link).
  2. To encourage others who oppose euthanasia to become or renew their membership in the Delta Hospice Society before the October 21st deadline. (Membership Link).
  3. Then attend (online) to vote for the board members who oppose euthanasia at Delta Hospice Society’s Annual General Meeting later this year.

The Delta Hospice Society was defunded by the British Columbia (BC) Ministry of Health, in February 2021, and their 10 bed hospice was expropriated because they refused to participate in euthanasia (MAiD). (Article).

The Delta Hospice Society continues to exist and the current board wants to establish a no kill hospice sanctuary

The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition supports this project. The only way to achieve this goal is by electing a board of directors who oppose euthanasia.
