Executive Director, Euthanasia Prevention Coalition
Fraser Health, a healthcare authority in British Columbia Canada, has been sending a slideshow promoting euthanasia to pensioners. Will Potter, reporting for the Daily Mail on July 1, obtained a copy of the slideshow promoting assisted death, that was sent to healthy pensioners. Potter reported:
The slideshow included advice on 'expressions of wanting to die', noting that it can be used to 'promote a sense of control'. Terminally ill patients are also seemingly offered the chance to die within 'a day'.Potter explains that British Columbia had a 24% increase in euthanasia deaths in 2022 resulting in 2515 euthanasia deaths. Euthanasia has grown exponentially since March 2021 when Canada expanded the law to permit euthanasia for people who are not terminally ill. Potter explains
This was detailed in the slideshow allegedly sent by Fraser last week, which revealed its 'track system' included two options for when death is either 'reasonably foreseeable' or 'not reasonably foreseeable'.Potter reported that the slideshow was sent to people in the Fraser Health region as part of a pension package. Potter explains that a Canadian parliamentary committee has recently advocated for the expansion of euthanasia to children.
For those whose death is 'not reasonably foreseeable', the healthcare provider said patients go through just 90 days of assessments. While symptoms that fall under the option were named as chronic pain and fibromyalgia, the Canadian government has announced plans to allow people to die under the practice solely due to mental illness by March 2024.
Amy Hasbrouck from Not Dead Yet commented to Potter on child euthanasia.
'I think it's horrible,' said Amy Hasbrouck, who campaigns against MAiD for the group Not Dead Yet.
'Teenagers are not in a good position to judge whether to commit suicide or not. Any teenagers with a disability, who's constantly told their life is useless and pitiful, will be depressed, and of course they're going to want to die.'

Potter then commented on Canadian military veteran Christine Gauthier:
In December, this was thrust into the spotlight when retired Army Corporal Christine Gauthier, a former Paralympian, was offered euthanasia by the Canadian government when she complained about delays to having a wheelchair lift installed in her home.Alan Nichols died in the Fraser Health Region in August 2019. Alan was depressed and living with suicidal ideation. His request to be killed was taken as a request for euthanasia. Instead of being treated for suicidal ideation, as he had received in previous experiences with suicidal ideation, but rather he was approved for and died by euthanasia, even though his family begged the doctors who approved his death to re-assess him.
After years of frustrating delays in getting the home lift, Gauthier says a caseworker told her: 'Madam, if you are really so desperate, we can give you medical assistance in dying now.'
We are living in the Last Days, and this evil agenda is just one of many proofs of that. Legal serial killers. I live with fibromyalgia, I'm in some level of pain 24/7, and it goes off the charts several times every single day, I'm also living with several other serious health conditions that cause me pain, among many other things. Despite this, Praise God, my life is quite full and beautiful, but apparently these murderous sub-humans believe I should jump at the chance to off myself. Serious BOO!
ReplyDeleteI ALREADY POSTED A COMMENT --- WHERE IS IT??
ReplyDeleteThe slippery slope get slipplier with no end in sight. Rita.
ReplyDeleteMy parents received unsolicited calls asking them to place a DNR on their files. Neither one is chronically I'll or in pain. Just old. Very creepy
ReplyDeleteMy questions: Is the Canadian Government so very short of funds that it cannot afford to pay pensions? Is everybody, at every level, in on the act? How long will it be before all governments, across the world, decide that they can indulge in this kind of activity? Could suggesting to a pensioner that they might be euthanased perhaps be seen as a violation of one's privacy and/or human rights?
ReplyDeleteMy comment: This is absolutely terrifying!
They obviously want to get rid to the wisdom that is left in Canada!
ReplyDeleteAs for Anonymous who is wondering what happened to a previous comment, I rarely publish an Anonymous comment. The comment asking what happened to the previous comment was premature. I moderate the comments. If I didn't moderate the comments people would be shocked by some of the comments made by pro-death people.
ReplyDeleteBut if you want me to publish your comment then don't leave it as an Anonymous comment.
Most pensioners have worked most of their lives and look forward to a limited number of so golden years of enjoyment with or without grand kids etc. They paid taxes and provided the base from which our government's altruistic millenials mentally operate today.
ReplyDeleteThe way our government spends money today is repulsive and detrimental to the welfare and social contracted 'social safety net' and is almost last on it's priorities.
The present CDN government with it's cabinet of machivelian outlook dept heads has outspent their budgets and looking to cut $$ from vulnerable support programs for seniors. It is insideous and near criminal that the government is marketing for the pharmaceutical industry in pushing 'death drugs'for wider use through the government health programs, because of careless spending. We'll send $Billions out of Canada and we soon won't have resources to look after our own seniors. DISGRACEFUL !!!!
Good idea Alex not to publish anonymous comments
ReplyDeleteThis is the sad and actual but long-awaited confirmation that British Columbia is the 'most leftwing' of all ten provinces of the Dominion of Canada. Just like in any atlas.
ReplyDeleteThe scary part of it is that all general practitioners in the province's "Health Authorities" (yes, they are outsourced from the provincial Ministry of Health, and paid by the MoH) are now obligated to follow the advice in this video, and must recommend to 'older patients' what the province wants, irrespective of heir state of health. This is like being paid 'kopgeld'(='head bounty') for betraying the location of any Jew hiding in Amsterdam in 1944. The person who betrayed the whereabouts of a Jew, was paid seven guilders and fifty cents for that 'service' by the occupying forces. Chapter 18 of the book "The Betrayal of Anne Frank (2022) by Rosemary Sullivan, (HarperCollins) relates the cold case investigation results. ISBN: 978-0-06-306300-6
