Ballot Question 2 (assisted suicide) 'its out of control'

The Massachusetts Committee Against Physician Assisted Suicide has just released its first television ad opposing Question 2 on the November 6 state ballot. Question 2 would legalize assisted suicide in Massachusetts.

The first TV ad focuses on three of the biggest flaws with Question 2:

1. There is no requirement for patients requesting a lethal prescription to have a mental health evaluation beforehand
2. There is no requirement for a patient to notify their family members before they commit suicide
3. There is no requirement to have a doctor present when the patient takes the lethal prescription
