As a person who has been physically challenged since having experienced a cerebral hemorrhage back in early 1986, I am deeply grateful that no one took me off of the life support when critically needed to get me through the most critical few weeks of my recovery. Had that assistance not been provided, I never would have lived to see my 6 children grow up and (so far) 9 grandchildren added to the family. Handicapped or not, every life is precious and I cherish my life just as much today as had been the case prior to the onset of disability. The Golden rule applies - you would want to be protected in case of illness and we feel the very same way.Victoria DeLacynoreply@blogger.com
